ROGER B
Persistence
Roger B is set to release his first full-length album entitled "Psalms & Songs" early summer. He previously released two singles entitled "Persistence" and "Captain Selassie I" which is on regular rotation on Natty B's "Zion Train" and also on Patrick Roots's "Reggae Rhythms". Since arriving in Canada, Roger B taught Engineering and Post Production at Trebas Music Institute for two years. Roger is a founder member of Slamm Studio along with Sam Weller. He is also currently teaching at I.A.D.T (Toronto Film School) as a Sound Tech Program Instructor.
Roger B has worked alongside many big name artists and has released three previous singles namely "Jah Love", "Rough Old Life" and "Too Late", which have been hitting the charts in Canada and Guyana. Roger has produced rhythms for various artists in the music business including Donna Makeda, Sweet Sapp, Vencotte 24, Sugar Minott, Prince Everald, Baby Wayne, Ras Magic, Spider and Lloyd Wedderburn, King Ujah, Peculiar I and Tafari, Lymie, Mr. Cool, Ravishing and Goodness to name a few. He has also done dub plates for Natty B and Patrick Roots.
When asked how far he was willing to take his musical career, Roger B said, " The sky is the limit, just Jah." This versatile songwriter, singer, rhythm maker, sound engineer, husband and father, is set to take the world by storm and spread his love and conscious messages to the four corners of the earth.
